Build relationship with your students to create a true classroom community.

Through the use of circles in Restorative Discipline, campuses can build a strong sense of community. Join us for this one day workshop and learn the guiding principles for conducting circles. You will also participate in community building circles that you can take back to your campus. The circles can be used for staff and students for your "welcome back" to school and throughout the year.

Building community is an essential part of a positive school climate. One way for a teacher to foster building relationships is through restorative circles. This workshop will cover a brief overview of restorative discipline & practices, types of circles, circle formats, and the circle process. Participants will participate in the following circles:

Check-in circle

Academic circle

Community Building circle

Social-Emotional Learning circle

Participants will also participate in quick activities that can be replicated with their students.
