Behavior Coordinator Training

Senate Bill 107 requires campuses to designate a Behavior Coordinator which is a specific person to be responsible for maintaining student discipline.

This 30 hour course will provide information, resources, and additional skills for the designated behavior coordinator in the following areas:

  • TEC Chapter 37: Discipline; Law and Order- training, updates, and resources
  • Discipline data entry and analysis
  • Data driven decision making
  • Alternatives to ISS and OSS
  • Equity and Disproportionality
  • Multi-tiered Systems of Support for Behavior: Behavior RtI
  • Developing a Trauma-Sensitive Campus

Senate Bill 107 requires campuses to designate a specific person to be responsible for maintaining student discipline and changes the elements of the offense of unlawfully carrying weapons under Section 46.02 Penal code.

This 30 hour course will provide additional skills for the designated behavior coordinator in the following areas:

  • Chapter 37 training and update
  • Discipline data entry and analysis
  • Data driven decision making
  • Alternatives to ISS and OSS
  • Disproportionality
  • Multi-tiered Systems of Support for Behavior: Behavior RtI
