90% Plus: Staying in Target Language while Building Community
The TEKS state students are to be given ample opportunities to engage in conversations in the target language. In this workshop, participants will learn strategies for maintaining the class 90%+ in the target language at all levels of instruction including level one. Also, they will explore incorporating brain breaks in the TL and ways to build community and break down the filter so that students feel comfortable takings risks in the language. Participants are encouraged to bring their own device.
