This one day conference is intended to support districts and campuses with the ever growing need for mental health support for our students and staff. This one day event will focus on school safety, self care, and providing hands on tools. Participants will have an opportunity to participate in multiple breakout sessions throughout the day. Members of our Region 13 staff as well as outside agencies will be presenting sessions. Sessions will include suicide prevention, personality and mood disorders, adult mental health needs, multi-cultural social justice, community based partnerships, mental health resources and much more.
Join us for this one-day conference where we're bringing our behavior, at risk, and counseling teams together to provide districts and campuses with mental health support!
Mental health is a critical part of our students' social, emotional, personal, and academic success. Participants will take part in multiple breakout sessions throughout the day, run by our staff and outside agencies and specialists dedicated to mental health. We'll be discussing suicide prevention, personality and mood disorders, adult mental health needs, self care, multi-cultural social justice, building community based partnerships and so much more.
We'll also have vendors from outside agencies to provide you the resources, tips, tools, and strategies you need to understand mental health at your schools.
