This single day portion of the 2018 GT Conference lets you choose from a full day of Rigor & PBL with Dr. Cecelia Boswell or 3-hour "double up" sessions for ELAR and Social Studies.
Dr. Boswell's full day session provides examples of pre-assessment that engages students with strategies to add depth, complexity, and rigor to students’ learning. Along with pre-assessment, this professional development session combines problem-based projects with secondary appropriate content. Exploration of and practice with sample problems and a framework for development of problem-based projects are offered to complete the day.
