A Practical Approach to PLC: This one-day workshop focuses on a PLC conversation cycle that is rooted in the Four Critical Questions:
- What do we want students to learn?
- How will we know if students have learned it?
- How will we respond if students haven’t learned it YET?
- How will we respond if students have learned it?
- Collaborate with colleagues to identify roadblocks encountered during PLC, and generate solutions to support teamwork and productivity.
- Learn strategies to identify clear and specific team goals that keep students at the center of PLC conversations.
- Learn processes for creating success criteria and utilizing authentic student work to monitor progress toward the student learning goal.
- Learn strategies for collaborative data analysis, and processes for taking collective action.
