Course Goal and Overview
Navigating the social maze of everyday life can be difficult for individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorders (ASD), as socialization is on of ASD's core deficits.  In this course, you will learn: the complexities of social interaction; play as a key developmental indicator; strategies for teaching and learning the rules of social interaction; the power of practicing with peers to learn how to follow these rules; and assessment for implementing social skills instruction.

This online course is a training module developed by the Texas Statewide Leadership for Autism Training as a part of an autism training series.
