The State of Texas requires all districts and charter schools to document student outcomes in three specific areas of development within 30 days of entry into Preschool Programs for Children with Disabilities. This is a requirement for all PPCD students ages 3 through 5. The training will address the State Performance Plan Indicator # 7, Early Childhood Outcomes.
Participants will:
-
learn the 3 areas to assess for progress monitoring,
-
learn what the state requirements are for the indicator, and
-
practice and learn how to complete data for the Child Outcome Summary Form (COSF).

Since SPP 7 is a federal reporting requirement, all PPCD teachers, dually certified PreKindergarten teachers, Speech-language pathologists who serve PPCD students, and other personnel who serve PPCD students will need training in Early Childhood Outcomes.
