MATH- 6th Math STAAR Workshop
Join us for an AMAZING day of learning, collaboration, and FUN as we learn strategies to support students with the STAAR Math Assessment!
In this workshop, we will:
- Unpack the "hard to learn, hard to teach" TEKS assessed on the STAAR assessment and identify opportunities to gain ground with students
- Learn strategies and explore resources to support active, hands-on review for each reporting category on STAAR
- Create a plan for implementation that spirals skills and supports differentiation
6th Grade STAAR Workshop
This workshop will be based on patterns observed in regional data with regard to student performance on the 6th grade math SEs. In this workshop, we will explore how to make rich mathematical discussions part of your daily routine. This workshop will provide you with great resources and include activities that you can implement in your classroom immediately!
