SEL Facilitated (SELF) Network: Social Awareness
The CASEL competencies of social awareness and relationship skills will be the focus of this SEL facilitator training by providing strategies to increase a student’s ability to think socially. Social thinking helps students better understand the actions and intentions of others. This information makes them less vulnerable to bullying, poor peer interactions and unhealthy choices. SEL facilitators can use the strategies presented in this workshop to build a system of social support for all students. These actions improve campus culture and academic success.
