At-Risk Network 2020-2021: Social Justice for English Language Learners

One in five students in Texas schools are English Language Learners, and nine out of ten of these students come from monolingual Spanish speaking homes. While the statistics alone demonstrate the need for mindful attention to equity in educational settings, funding for the provision of ELL services has not changed. In this workshop, we will learn the highest leverage strategies to provide equitable services in our schools with limited resources.
