2020-21 Optic Nerve Hypoplasia Study Group

ESC Region 13 Education Specialists in Visual Impairments along with Brett Page, School Psychologist from Ohio and expert on social development for students with visual impairments, will guide and facilitate a study group through ZOOM meetings, for VI professionals who work with students with Optic Nerve Hypoplasia. The group will meet for 3 sessions of 120 minutes each via ZOOM.  Open but not limited to professionals who work as a TVI, COMS, OT, PT, LSSP, and/or behavior specialist, etc. 

The group will participate in the discussion and sharing of information on particular students, including: etiology, medical information, instructional setting/type of services provided, and present concerns in order to develop meaningful instructional strategies and more effective programming.  Brett Page will join the meetings through ZOOM.  

6 hours of ACVREP CE's provided for COMS
