The 2021 TEKS Resource System Curriculum Conference brings hundreds of Texas educators together for three days of collaboration, innovation and learning. The annual conference will showcase national guest speakers, informative sessions and hands-on workshops. KEYNOTE SPEAKER - Gerry Brooks
Every year TEKSCON features guest speakers that motivate, excite, and advance the development of learners. Past keynote presenters include Motivational Speaker Tim Clue, Illinois Teacher of the Year Kim Thomas, Success Trainer Aric Bostick, Educator Ron Clark, and others.
TEKS Resource System is pleased to present Gerry Brooks. Armed with a camera and shot from the inside of his car, America's favorite Lexington principal can be found on YouTube offering insight, encouragement, and humor to educators. He has grown a community of over 500,000 followers with videos about car duty, staff meetings, and all things "Erducation."
Gerry Brooks is a passionate speaker that has shared his experience as a teacher and administrator all around the nation. He focuses on encouraging teachers to improve their instruction through personal climate and culture strategies, and he desires to help administrators focus on how to lead all staff in a positive and constructive manner.
