McREL's Six-Phase Learning Model is designed for educators, using research on brain science. By using what we know about how students (and all people) process information and build memory, teachers can plan for learning in a way that provides students with a greater opportunity to learn and develop knowledge they will remember long after the lesson is completed.
This course will give you an overview of what cognitive science tells us about memory and will connect this knowledge to a model for learning.
You are going to learn about the stages of human memory and how science can help educators harness the power of how we make, process, and retrieve memories.
