Lectoescritura supports reading and writing development for bilingual writers! Join us to explore the components of Lectoescritura and how mentor text can be a springboard to combine reading and writing skills. We will discuss essential components of the TELPAS and STAAR assessment, review rubrics, and analyze student writing samples. You will learn new Structured Writing Approaches and Strategies and plan sample lessons for your own grade level. Lastly, we will review STAAR strategies to support compositional writing and editing.
