Calling all new Early Childhood, Special Education Teachers (ECSE = PPCD)! Whether you are new to teaching or new to early childhood, this is for you. Each day is designed to provide practical tips and strategies early childhood educators can bring back to and use in their classrooms.
This series of four sessions and bonus online classes will cover all the essentials you need to know to have a successful year in Early Childhood. Come learn about classroom management, best instructional practices for supporting students with disabilities, literacy and STEM development AND walk away with teaching materials, developmentally appropriate activities and classroom visuals that you can use on your first day! (Note: Tuesday 7/26 will be a virtual "at home" learning day. Training on 7/25, 7/27 and 7/28 will take place at ESC Region 13's main campus.)
***All participants will receive 22 CEUs. Participants who work within the boundaries of Region 13 who meet grant requirements will receive materials after completion of the workshop. For those of you who live outside the boundaries of Region 13, many digital resources will be available. Childcare providers, mentors and coaches are welcome!
You will also receive free access to the online Circle Time Course (Circle Time materials will be provided with your materials), the SPP7 Early Childhood Outcomes Course, many usefull videos from national presenters and one technical assistance visit in your classroom if requested.
