The workshop is are aligned to the Effective Schools Framework Prioritized Lever 5 EA 5.1 Objective-driven daily lesson plans with formative assessments.

 Hattie's research indicated an effect size of .90 for effective formative assessment and .88 for success criteria or over two years of academic growth for a student. Using your TEKS aligned learning objectives and success criteria are the foundation of formative assessment, and then you as a teacher and your students using success criteria to assess learning is the key to greater student achievement

In this interactive workshop,  you will learn and practice 

  • creating rigorous TEKS aligned success criteria 
  • designing TEKS aligned formative assessments to measure student mastery of the learning objectives and success critieria
  • ensuring greater teacher clarity of expectations
