Using Data to Inform Secondary Math Instruction - (For TEKS Resource System Clients)

As secondary math teachers, we are often inundated with student performance data. How can we use data to inform our daily lesson plans, adjust instruction, and monitor student progress?

In this workshop, we will:

  • Utilize data to identify TEKS students have struggled with historically

  • Use tools within the TEKS Resource System to make connections between learning progressions and vertical alignment in 6-12 math

  • Learn strategies to scaffold instruction and eliminate learning gaps
