Maximizing Math STAAR Review Time (Grade 4)
Don’t try to cram a whole year’s worth of instruction into a few days of review. Instead, learn to maximize your classroom review time by identifying TEKS clusters of the highest need, and create a plan that will effectively address these needs within a reasonable amount of time.
In this workshop well will:
- Review regional data used to determine the areas of highest need.
- Identify the key components for this year’s STAAR test using the STAAR Blueprint and examples of the new field test items.
- Explore ready to use classroom strategies and resources to support active, hands-on review.
- Create a plan for implementation that spirals skills and supports differentiation
