Fundamentals and Best Practices for Supporting Students with Significant Cognitive Disabilities!

Calling all special educators, paraprofessionals, related services personnel, and even general education teachers!

Whether you are new to working and supporting students with significant cognitive disabilities or you are a veteran who would like a refresher on current best practices - this workshop is for you!

This is a 4 day workshop designed to provide practical and meaningful tips and strategies for everyday use. By registering for this event, you will be registered for ALL 4 days of the workshop.  This workshop will be delivered in a hybrid model of in-person and virtual learning opportunities.

The four days of boot camp will cover:

  • Alignment with State Standards

  • Effective Teams

  • Classroom Climate

  • Differentiated Instruction

  • Social Communication

***All participants will receive 22 CPEs. Participants who work within the boundaries of Region 13 who meet grant requirements will receive instructional  materials after completion of the workshop. For those of you who live outside the boundaries of Region 13, many digital resources will be available. Homeschool providers, mentors and coaches are welcome!

You will also receive one free technical assistance visit in your classroom, if requested.
