Calling all Special Educators, Related Services Personnel, and even General Education Teachers!

Whether you are new to working with and supporting students with complex access needs or you are a veteran who would like a refresher on current best practices around low incidence disabilities - this workshop is for you!

Come out to this in person, four day boot camp that will share practical and meaningful tips and strategies for everyday use with students with significant cognitive disabilities.  By registering for this event, you will have the chance to access the entire four days of meaningful content and networking opportunities with educators in your field!

Learn from your regional support team and get practical, hands-on tips on topics like setting up your LID classroom, aligning TEKS to instruction, planning instruction, developing meaningful PLAFFPs and goals, strategies for data collection, best practices around schedules, fostering effective teams with paraprofessionals, general education teachers, and related service providers including a full half-day dedicated to behavior strategies for your unique students that will make a difference in your classroom.

This boot camp offers optional Make and Take activities to create materials you can use in your classroom.  TONS of instructional materials will also be provided to all participants who reside within the Region 13 boundaries.

***All participants will receive 22 CPEs. Participants who work within the boundaries of Region 13 who meet grant requirements will receive instructional materials after completion of the workshop as well as an opportunity for 1 follow up coaching session on presented content. For those of you who live outside the boundaries of Region 13, many digital resources will be available.
