This workshop will build on creating a culture of connection by looking at taking that next step forward to building a culture of belonging. Belonging is the idea that everyone can have a place at the table, comfortable to share their thoughts, and to give and receive care to those in their community. Today more than ever, your counseling program stakeholders need actionable strategies to help create cultures of belonging in our schools. Through collaboration with your colleagues around the region, examinging current research, and breaking down the concept of belonging, we know you'll leave with many ways to continue to build connection and belonging with those you serve.
