2-day kick-off open to all districts for training. The audience would include the faculty and staff that will be moderators for the Restorative Peer Programs. The focus will be to create a peer program with a combination of responsive circles and conferencing that provides an opportunity for older students (middle & high school) to hold each other accountable. The outcome for the peer program is to help their peers restore relationships and repair harm as needed.
*There will be an attendance cap.
2 in-person campus visits to meet with the students that have been selected to facilitate the program and moderator(s) of the Restorative Peer Conferencing
2 virtual network visits facilitated by Region 13 for campus staff moderators of the peer conferencing groups to allow the team members to ask questions, raise concerns, and share how the program is progressing.
*The Restorative Peer Conferencing training would be limited to Secondary Campuses.
