School Therapy: Best Practices in School-Based OT/PT Evaluation and Services (On Demand) 2022

This virtual training is intended for OTs and PTs who are new to working in the school setting AND veteran therapists to ensure we're working with the most current information. We will unpack best practices for school-based OT/PT evaluation and the decisions that come from this including integrated IEP goals, service delivery continuums, and considerations for schedules of services (dosage).

Participants will be able to:

  1. Describe 3 strengths-based, top-down evaluation tools to incorporate into your practice
  2. Identify 5 benefits for integrated goals and integrated services that adhere to least restrictive environment mandates.
  3. Compare 3 dosing tools that support decision making on the amount of therapy support needed by a student to participate meaningfully in their SPED program
Please note: This is a recurring course, repeating on an annual basis. Make sure you haven't already taken this. It was previously called School Therapy 101: Best Practices in School-Based OT/PT (SU2146640)
