Scaffolding Writing for All
Scaffold student writing each day!
The STAAR Redesign mirrors effective classrooms, where teachers coherently build student's background knowledge in all areas. Now, evidence-based writing will be intentionally selected to cover cross-curricular content. Join us for a renewed focus on scaffolding writing across content areas.
Through effective scaffolding, students can improve their learning outcomes while increasing independence and self-regulation.
Scaffolding is a High Leverage Practice for Inclusive Classrooms (CEC, 2019) and can be implemented in all content areas with all students.
The is a pre-recorded session. Participants can access the recorded session and workshop materials in Canvas.
