This workshop will provide school counselors witha deeper dive regarding participating in school behavioral threat assessments. We will discuss the definition of a threat, the different types of threats, and the steps involved in conducting a threat assessment. We will also discuss the role of the school counselor in the threat assessment process, including how to gather information, assess risk, and develop intervention plans.
