The Homeless Education COOP /Networking meetings offer an opportunity for LEAs to discuss concerns related to homeless education. Region 13 staff give guidance regarding best practices to identify and assist students experiencing homelessness.

The McKinney- Vento Act requires that homeless children and youth have adequate transportation to and from school. The Every Student Succeeds Act of 2015 (ESSA) regulations impacting transportation for McKinney - Vento students will be discussed.
We invite transportation directors, homeless liaisons, and administrators to attend this training.
