Strategies for Empowering Students and Teachers Through Data Ownership
Participants will gain a better understanding of how to use data to improve student outcomes, and how to empower students to take control of their own learning. Teachers will also learn how to take ownership of the data that they collect, which will allow them to create more effective teaching strategies.
Topics explored in this workshop will include:
- Understanding what heat maps are and how they can positively influence classroom instruction
- Exploring how heat maps can be leveraged by both teachers and students
- Collaborating with other content area professionals to plan for your own classroom instruction.
