The Behavior Coach Endorsement Program is a year-long program running from September through June. Our program is an intensive 240 hours of training for your administrators, counselors, teachers, and paraprofessionals who wish to become a behavior specialist. Classes take place on the 1st and 3rd Monday from 6:00 pm-9:00 pm in the evening and on the 3rd Saturday from 9:00 am-3:00 pm. If a class falls on a holiday or holiday weekend, adjustments will be made to the schedule. This schedule runs from October-May. You will have 5 days of training in June and a book study to complete.
The program focuses on a multi-tiered system of behavioral interventions and supports, as we spend the 240 hours training you in the following topics:
· Whole school behavioral interventions and preventions
· Intensive interventions for students with significant challenges
· Best Practice models of behavior and discipline
· Skill development training
· Leadership Skills
