Training to support three key components in the creation of IEPs.
These components include Procedural Nuts and Bolts, Classroom Based Observation and Feedback, and Facilitated IEP to improve collaboration between school and home. This facilitation approach applies skills and knowledge from the fields of group dynamics, conflict resolution, communication, and meeting management to IEP or ARD meetings.
The intended audience for this training is administrators who participate as members of the ARD committee as the LEA representative or who will monitor and appraise special education teachers.
The training will outline their responsibility for ensuring an appropriate individualized education program (IEP) for a student.
