In this course, you will learn how to effectively incorporate short constructed responses into your science lessons.  You will explore various strategies for teaching your students how to write clear, concise, and accurate responses that demonstrate their understanding of key scientific concepts. 



 This course will address the following:


  • Understanding the purpose and benefits of short constructed responses in the science classroom. 

  • Teaching students how to organize their ideas and use evidence to support their responses. 

  • Providing feedback and support to help students improve their writing skills. 


By the end of this course, you will have a strong understanding of how to use short constructed responses to enhance your students’ writing skills and deepen their understanding of scientific concepts.  You will be equipped with practical strategies that you can immediately implement in your classroom, helping your students become more confident and proficient writers.
