Best Practices in Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA)
6.00 CPE Credits
This is a one- day virtual workshop for educators who want to learn how to conduct a Functional Behavioral Assessment (FBA) and develop a quality Behavior Intervention Plan (BIP). Participants will learn basic principles of behavior and their ultility in the FBA. They will be explicitly guided through each step in the FBA process and taught to use its findings to create the BIP. Participants will also discuss barriers that impact the quality of their FBAs and BIPs, then brainstorm solutions to establish school-wide behavioral practices that fit the conditions of their unique learning environments without compromising the integrity of the FBA results and BIP development.
