Join us for this engaging workshop as we dive into the world of TELPAS and learn how to effectively use it as a tool for monitoring student growth. Our experienced instructors will guide you through the assessment and show you how to align instructional strategies with question types. We will also explore the importance of goal setting with students and how to effectively communicate the purpose of TELPAS to both students and parents. With our guidance, you will be able to confidently plan and receive authentic test results to better support your students' academic success.

Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the TELPAS assessment and how it is used to monitor student growth.
2. Utilize TELPAS data to target instruction for students of different proficiency levels.
3. Learn effective strategies for setting goals with students and communicating the purpose of TELPAS to parents.
4. Plan to receive authentic TELPAS test results and use them to inform instruction.
5. Leave with the tools and knowledge to improve student performance on TELPAS.

Note: Participants are encouraged to come prepared with access to their district TELPAS data from Spring of 2024.
