$100.00
The Gifted and Talented Leadership workshop series will support you with the various aspects of program leadership aligned to the Texas State Plan for Gifted and Talented Students.  Each workshop in the series provides expertise, support, and collaboration to help you improve your GT programming.

This workshop will focus on all aspects of identification and assessment in order to share best practices, and give you time to prepare for this process.

We will start by taking a close look at the documents and forms that are needed to guide the process.  The specialist will share samples of forms that you can use to update or replace your existing documents.

Then, let's get ready to talk about best practices for assessing students.  Find out if your district has an appropriate array of assessments, and if you meet the requirements of the Texas State Plan.  We will also discuss how to assess students in a way that offers better access to the program for all student populations.

Don't forget to bring your laptop.  We will be accessing materials online and working while we learn.
