The Leadership Forum is an opportunity for Gifted/Talented and Advanced Academics leaders to connect and support each other virtually throughout the year. These one-hour open agenda sessions are a collaborative effort between the Region 13 Gifted and Talented Program Specialist and the Central Texas Advanced Academics Consortium (CTAAC).
CTAAC is a district-led initiative created for the purpose of providing district-to-district support for the Gifted and Talented and Advanced Academics programs. This organization is currently led by Blake Haygood from Austin ISD, and Tish Cawley from Hays Consolidated ISD. The organization meets a few times throughout the year to offer leaders the time and space to connect with each other and ask questions relevant to their program.
Amber Reinecke, Region 13 Gifted and Talented Specialist, has offered to host a space for CTAAC to meet. She will attend these sessions to offer support in facilitating conversation and to answer questions that relate to state standards and guidelines.
Please note that sessions will NOT be recorded.
