Texas Dyslexia Academy 4: Dyslexia: From Child Find through the Admission, Review, and Dismissal (ARD) Committee Process is designed to build background knowledge about the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA) and special education. Suggested staff: All educators and administrators, but primarily benefits educators who may have limited knowledge about special education processes.
(To receive credit for attendance and participation in the Texas Dyslexia Academies, the participant needs to attend the module in its entirety. Late participants will not be admitted to the virtual course after 15 minutes from the start of the course and should plan to attend the full six-hour training session via Zoom. )
