Join us for a workshop that will delve into the complex and often misunderstood topics of non-suicidal self-injury and suicidal ideation. Through in-depth discussions and interactive activities, we will explore the underlying causes, warning signs, and ways to cope with these behaviors. Our goal is to provide a safe and supportive space for individuals struggling with these issues and for those who want to better understand and support loved ones who may be experiencing them.

Learning Objectives:

1. Gain a comprehensive understanding of non-suicidal self-injury and suicidal ideation, including prevalence rates, contributing factors, and common misconceptions.

2. Recognize the warning signs and risk factors associated with these behaviors, as well as the different forms they can take.

3. Explore effective coping mechanisms and strategies for breaking the cycle of self-injury and managing suicidal thoughts.

4. Learn how to provide support and assistance to those who may be struggling with these issues, including how to provide a non-judgmental and compassionate environment.

5. Develop a personal action plan for addressing and managing non-suicidal self-injury and suicidal ideation in a healthy and productive way.
