Join us online during your lunch time for a dynamic learning session that will equip you with the necessary tools, language, and techniques to effectively talk to school-aged youth about substance use. Led by a community expert, you will gain confidence and knowledge to support young people in making informed decisions about their health and well-being. Discover new strategies for navigating difficult conversations and learn how to create a safe and open space for honest dialogue. 
 

Learning Objectives:
1. Gain a deeper understanding of the impact of substance use on school-aged youth.
2. Learn how to effectively communicate with young people (and their caregivers) about substance use.
3. Identify and practice strategies for addressing common barriers and challenges in discussing substance use.
4. Develop tools and language to promote informed decision-making and healthy decision-making skills.
5. Create a plan for initiating and continuing conversations about substance use with youth.
