This practice test is available for students enrolled in a superintendent certification program in Texas.
For this experience, you will be expected to be connected to the internet and logged into a Zoom meeting with the test proctor the entire time. You will also keep your camera on as the instructor will be monitoring the computer space of which you are taking the assessment.
Ensure you have a quiet, uninterrupted space for the time period of 8AM-1PM. You are also expected to have 5 pieces of scratch paper and a writing instrument on hand.
Exam Experience Schedule:
- 8:00-8:15AM CST --Live Zoom begins with Test Proctor providing experience instructions and verify attendance
- 8:15AM-12PM --Timed test through Canvas course access, testers’ Zoom camera on at all times
- 12PM or earlier if finished-1PM -- Break then one opportunity to review score, correct answer, and rationales for missed questions, testers’ Zoom camera on at all times
- When finished reviewing test (no later than 1PM) -- Sign off of Zoom
Communication during the exam experience:
- In order to maintain a quiet environment for all testers on the Zoom, testers will remain on mute the entire time following the 15 minute whole group kick-off.
- Use the chat feature to communicate needs and questions to the proctor throughout the experience.

Keep the proctor informed:
- before you step away for a break.
- when you transition from test to answer review.
- when you have completed your review prior to signing off of the session.
The test proctor will email you an individualized score report with recommended next steps within 2 business days.
Advance Experience Required Steps:
1. Log in to your E-Campus account and access the Canvas course to do the following three things:
- As a pre-requisite to accessing the representative (195) exam, you must verify your participation in an approved Texas Educator Preparation Program for the superintendent certification.
In the pre-requisite assignment in this Canvas course, upload documentation demonstrating your active enrollment by submitting one of the following:
- Program admission letter
- Letter from program staff verifying your participation
Instructions on how to do this:
- Click launch next to the course on your E-Campus workshop list.
- You will start on the overview page. Read it and scroll to the bottom; click Get Started.
- Review Supplementary Materials page content; Click Mark as Done and then Next.
- Read the Confidentiality Agreement; click the option to agree and then Next.
- On the Program Verification page, click on Upload File and upload one of the two options, and then Submit Assignment.

- The time for this session is based on Austin, Texas Central Time.
- Failure to complete submission of pre-requisite verification assignment within the course by NOON the day prior to the exam experience will result in registration cancellation and full refund processed; no exceptions will be made to this.
- Failure to be in the exam room with microphone and video working by 8AM exam session start time will result in registration cancellation and full refund processed; no exceptions will be made to this, however, you will be allowed to request to be rescheduled for a future published workshop offering date/time.
- Staff will not be available via phone during test administration date due to proctoring live session; emails will be responded to as possible.
