1. Understand the current TEA regulations and recommendations for Early Childhood (EC) programs including developmentally appropriate practice.
2. Identify age-appropriate teaching practices and classroom strategies to create a language rich learning environment for young children.
3. Discuss common misconceptions surrounding teaching literacy to young children.
4. Explore various hands-on literacy rich activities to help you support implementation on your campus.
5. Gain practical tips and resources for implementing effective literacy instruction and promoting Kinder readiness within your EC program.
