Training will be held virtually and will be presented by Valley Speech. 

Esperanza is a multisensory, structured, systematic program for the teaching of reading, writing and spelling to students who struggle with Spanish literacy and language skills. This is a two-day training to help Bilingual teachers and/or Dyslexia teachers understand the intervention process. Participants will be able to participate in hands-on activities, which will help them implement the Esperanza program.

Participants must have available the Esperanza 8th edition Program Kit for training.

Participants who teach students in grades 1 and up should purchase and bring the Esperanza Teacher Manual 8th Edition, Esperanza Training Manual & Assessments and Reading Affixes Root Affixes & Deck & Practica de Lectura materials 2nd ed.  Additional materials which should be purchased: mirror, alphabet mat, counter set,
