UDL - IRL!  Are you meeting the needs of all your students?

Join us for an immersive 2-day workshop dedicated to Universal Design for Learning (UDL), designed to support the creation of accessible, inclusive, and challenging learning experiences for all students

Through scenarios, real-world examples, and collaborative activities, participants will examine sample lessons, gaining practical insights into the effective application of UDL strategies.

During our exploration of this education framework based on decades of research in neuroscience, we will:

1. Explore the theory and principles of UDL and its potential impact on learning, particularly for those with learning differences.
2. Understand the three brain networks and their roles in learning.
3. Learn practical strategies for applying UDL principles to reduce barriers and promote learner agency.
4. Analyze and evaluate current learning environments and identify areas for improvement through a UDL lens.
5. Apply UDL principles and strategies to design and create inclusive learning experiences for diverse learners.

This UDL Summit includes the foundational UDL courses developed by the Texas Education Agency.
