The 2025-2026 Transition Network provides a system of communication and collaboration to the districts and charter schools in Region 13, aiming to support educators working in the field of special education through providing information, resources, training opportunities and supports in the area of Transition Services.
Virtual Transition Network meetings will be held four times a year. There will also be an online Canvas course connected to the 2025-2026 Transition Network where information can be accessed before, during, and after Transition Network meetings throughout the school year.
New for 2025-2026, there will be an additional in-person networking component to the Transition Network taking place on the afternoon of each Transition Network meeting at a rotation of Region 13 campuses throughout the year. Registrants will be sent more information about the in-person networking including a link to RSVP if they would like to participate in this opportunity.
The Transition and Employment Designee (TED) for each district/charter school is encouraged to attend these meetings. The list of designees for each district/charter school in Texas is available on AskTED (Texas Education Directory).
Please note that meetings will take place through a live, online broadcast via Zoom. Zoom link and passcode will be sent to registrants in advance of each meeting.
