As the school year winds down, high school advising staff play a critical role in both closing the year with intention and setting students up for a successful transition. This workshop offers practical strategies to help staff wrap up the academic year effectively—through student data reviews, final check-ins, and end-of-year reflections—while also preparing incoming middle school students for a smooth and supported start. Learn how to collaborate with feeder schools and create welcoming systems that ease anxiety and promote engagement. Participants will leave with practical and applicable best practices to support graduating seniors, promoting students to the next grade level, and transitioning students into the high school.
