Join us as we build upon our understanding of matter, force, motion, and energy within the 6-8 TEKS.
In this workshop focusing on Reporting Categories 1 and 2 for 6-8, we will:
- explore vertical alignment of content TEKS
- dive into specificity of the content TEKS
- connect Scientific and Engineering Practices (SEPs ) and Recurring Themes and Concepts (RTCs) to the content TEKS
- examine instructional moves we can take to foster conceptual understanding for students
- engage in facilitated planning time to create action steps that best support our students
