Elementary RLA: Building Reading Stamina and Independence in K–1 Classrooms
ESC Region 13 - 01 Austin Campus
6.00 CPE Credits
$100.00

This course focuses on building the foundational student practice and routines necessary for successful literacy instruction in K–1 classrooms. Rather than designing or managing learning stations, participants will explore how to intentionally teach reading stamina, independence, and self-regulation so students can remain meaningfully engaged during the literacy block. Teachers will gain classroom management strategies as well. These practices support small-group instruction regardless of the station or rotation model in place and are especially critical before introducing or revising centers.
