Math: Maximizing Small Groups and Workstations That Work, 6-12
ESC Region 13
6.00 CPE Credits
$100.00

Join us for a dynamic, hands-on workshop designed to show Grades 6-12 math educators how small-group instruction and interactive workstations can create responsive, engaging, and effective learning environments.

In this session, you'll experience how purposeful small-group instruction and thoughtfully designed workstations can differentiate learning, build student agency, and deepen mathematical understanding. Through modeling, collaboration, and reflection, you'll leave equipped with practical strategies to support all learners—and the confidence to put them into action.

Whether you're new to small-group instruction or looking to refine your approach, this session will help you transform your math instruction into a more student-centered experience.

Participants will:

* Understand the purpose and benefits of small-group instruction in mathematics

* Explore a variety of engaging small-group instruction and workstation implementation models that promote active learning and conceptual understanding

* Develop strategies for differentiating instruction to meet the needs of all students in both small-group instruction and workstations

* Experience sample activities and reflect on how to adapt them for your classroom

* Create a personalized implementation plan for integrating small-group instruction and workstations in your classroom
