Join us for an interactive learning experience as we dive into the requirements for the district Texas ESSA Educator Talent Plan. We'll work hands-on to review, assess, and document the essential components of this plan, utilizing the provided toolkit resources and planning template. This blended training will provide you the opportunity to identify and address the specific acadenmic growth gaps in your LEA, and to collaborate with your peers as you draft your root cause categories and problem statements. By the end of the workshop, you'll have a comprehensive understanding of the district talent plan requirements and be equipped to develop and implement a high-quality plan for your district.
Learning Objectives:
1. Understand the components and requirements of the Texas ESSA Educator Talent Plan.
2. Review, assess, and document your district's current talent efforts, identifying gaps and areas for improvement.
3. Collaborate with peers to develop root cause categories and problem statements tailored to your district's needs.
4. Utilize the available toolkit resources and the planning template to develop a comprehensive and high-quality district educator talent plan.
5. Implement strategies and initiatives to improve access to effective teachers across your district, ultimately leading to improved outcomes for all students.

Recommendation for who should attend from your LEA: We recommend you have a team attendance of the key stakeholders involved in the Texas District ESSA Educator Talent Plan requirements. This could include your district talent plan lead, federal programs manager, your curriculum and instruction director, your human resource staff and/or a superintendent responsible for approving and authorizing these activities.
