Building a Successful LID Classroom: Fundamentals

Need a crash course on best practices for supporting students with low incidence disabilities? Whether you've stepped into this role for the first time or are returning for a fresh perspective, this workshop is designed exclusively for special education teachers working with students who have significant cognitive disabilities. 

This professional learning experience includes:

  • Two full days of in-person instruction
  • Two follow-up Zoom sessions to extend and deepen learning
  • Optional one-on-one coaching for individualized support

Participants will explore:

  • Foundational classroom structures and routines
  • Behavior supports and data collection tools
  • Instructional planning for diverse learner needs
  • Practical tips for organization, collaboration, and planning

That's not all! - Participants will leave with a package of instructional materials to use in their classrooms.
