This three-hour session provides educators, administrators, and transition staff with practical tools to design and implement high-quality, student-centered 18+ services. Participants will explore effective program models, community-based instruction strategies, employment pathways, and collaboration practices that extend learning beyond the classroom and align with each student’s strengths, preferences, and postsecondary goals. Through real examples and guided planning, attendees will leave with actionable steps to strengthen or develop 18+ programs in their district.
Learning Objectives:
- Identify key components of effective and individualized 18+ programs.
- Apply person-centered practices to develop community-based and employment-focused experiences.
- Create initial action steps to enhance or launch high-quality 18+ services in their district.
